The story.
My values. Your hands.
Why I teach, how I work and what Little Miss Cookie Crumble is built on.
Five principles behind every workshop.
Hi, I'm Fada, a crochet teacher and mother now based in Phuket. Little Miss Cookie Crumble started as a blog, grew into a passion and became something I knew I wanted to share. After teaching children in small groups in Singapore, I now bring the same warm, patient approach to workshops across Phuket. These five beliefs guide how I teach.
Anyone can make something beautiful.
Not just people who are "crafty." Not just kids with patience. Anyone, if the environment is warm and guidance is real.
Learning works best without rushing.
Crochet rewards patience. I give each participant space to understand the movement, try again and enjoy progress at their own pace.
Small groups change everything.
Every hand gets attention. Every stuck moment gets answered.
Creativity is a practice, not a talent.
Every new stitch develops skill. Every finished project builds confidence.
Progress deserves celebrating.
A first loop, a neater stitch or a finished piece can all be meaningful achievements. Confidence grows when progress is noticed.
What busy hands can make possible.
A gentle creative practice with benefits participants can feel for themselves.
Focused hands
Following a pattern one stitch at a time encourages attention, patience and a steady rhythm without the pressure of a screen.
A calm creative rhythm
The repeated movement of crochet gives many makers a quiet, absorbing activity in which to slow down and enjoy the process.
Creative confidence
Learning a new stitch, solving a small problem and seeing a project take shape builds confidence through real progress.
Something meaningful to keep
A handmade piece carries the story of the time, care and creativity that went into making it.
